Welcome to the Columbus Botanical Garden
April is Exciting at CBG It's Spring again, there is plenty to do this month at your Botanical Garden! Families are invited to begin the month with a visit to the garden to engage in a variety of activities involving nature, crafts, and FUN! Our first Kid's Weekend in the Garden is Saturday, April 4, 10am to 2pm and Sunday, April 5, 1 to 4pm. Don't miss it! Come back to the garden on the 18th for our annual Plant Sale and a variety of other events. Please go to the "Gardens Event" page for details of our two workshops, and stop by the farmhouse to see the first-ever flower show at CBG, courtesy of the Columbus Flower Workshop! The Plant Sale will include plants selected for drought tolerance or resistance to deer, and will be from a variety of Georgia growers. there will be a better selection than ever - including a fabulous variety of culinary herbs. For the first time, CBG members are invited to our "pre-sale" on Friday, April 17, 3 to 6pm. Visit us again at months end after we've installed our Spring plantings April 25!

Joann Holt Walking Trail is Open
Our mission is "to preserve a portion of the rapidly diminishing open space in Columbus and to provide the public with a unique educational facility that is based on environmental awareness, horticulture, historic preservation and agricultural values. This facility shall strive to inspire and leave a lasting impression on those who visit."
